Library series of paintings
Writer's Helps |
Library series of paintings
I painted these paintings for submission to our local writers’ guild annual anthology. I hope some of them will be accepted. I took all of these pictures at our local library and then painted them in gray scales.

This picture was taken in my garden. The zinnias are planted behind the feathery limbs of the asparagus on the outer edge of my garden. I took the picture between a break in the asparagus as to not scare the butterfly away. I was surprised at the misty effect it gave the rest of the flowers.

Hint Fiction - Columbia Art League Art Show
This picture of mine was one of the pictures that sold this week as mentioned in the article below. Robert Swartwood's book, Hint Fiction, was used by the artists to create their art based on one of the short stories. The story that I selected was "Breaking Labor News."
Four more works in Hint Fiction sold today - to the authors of the stories! Thanks to Robert Swartwood for sending pics of the artworks to their corresponding authors. Columbia artists' work will be winging their way to Irvine, CA; Sarasota, Fl and Princeton, NJ. Columbia artists rock the house.
