This first week of July, the Columbia Art League Community Exhibits change from one business to another. I will be moving my pictures from the Columbia Tribune to the University of Missouri Hospital second floor. My display will be all new pictures. It will feature my painted water lilies.
By using several layers as I work, I paint and sketch these lilies on the computer with the use of an electronic pen (or paintbrush) on a Wacom tablet. On this picture I used several colored pencils to accentuate the curling of the leaves and the many petals of the flowers.
